    是啊，intel的服务器芯片的下一代平台，应该目前有不少的企业都在研发吧。

好像这周Intel在北京有个关于这个平台的培训。
我只搞过好几年前的Bensley平台，一段时间的Thurley，希望有人可以介绍一下现在的Romely。

可能最大的特点就是把原来的IOH集成到了cpu里，同时，芯片本身集成了DDR3 controller，支持ddr31600，这样的话，总体上降低了成本，同时QPI，pcie的速率提升到了8Gbps，sata3，sas2等信号的测试也有了新的要求，总之感觉高速信号越来越多，而且不规则pin的设计给pcb的走线也带来不少的困扰。

Intel终于抛弃北桥这个性能瓶颈，向AMD靠齐了。
